A master's duty

It is a master's duty
to be under the influence of someone;
Or to be at the mercy of some
new beautiful light;
It plays the hue of her lips,
which colour her wonderful lies.

You say it is a master's duty
to be under the influence of something.
When the air blows through your fist
in hopeful, desperate grip
to try to catch another
missed emptiness.
