The Bay
I knew that youd come
as I stood by the bay.
The moon was low,
and winter breath left
with a sigh.
There, I chased myself into a star
made from dust and pallor;
And gazed from earth,
to find no mirror
in the constellations.
I knew that you'd come,
unshakeable limits,
with all your furious fever.
I'm always yours
I'm always filling
my boots up
with water.
